Color Blocking is one of the easiest and most versatile trends right now. One can either color block with bright bold contrasting colors or monochromatic colors like I did here. Just remember to make sure the colors are solid, it is the key to color blocking! Color Blocking is an easy trend to accomplish in your everyday looks. Pair a bright color skinny jean with a simple top and flats to pull off an effortless color blocking look. You can expand you color blocking look with accessories, handbags or jewelry. Do not be afraid to go for those bolder pieces to really add definition to your outfit. I went bold with this teal blazer and paring it with an orange wide leg trouser was a match made in heaven. I kept the tank simple. One of the easiest ways to bring some color into your life/outfit and push some boundaries is adding a color handbag or garment to your wardrobe. When wearing a simple outfit, adding a colorful handbag or blazer will give it the punch of color it needed. Shoes are a great way to color block as well. You can color block with patterns or just solid colors. Just another great excuse to go shoe shopping. Keeping in the same hue is also a great way to color block. Keep the palette similar in color. I took oxblood jeans and paired them with a rose pink embellished top and kept my accessories nude. This created such a great look. Get creative this season with color!!

Cinch up with belts this season. Belts are definitely an under-appreciated accessory in my opinion. They can add sparkle to a classic, accentuate curves, polish an outfit and create the ultimate silhouette. And, like most things, it is worth investing in some classic pieces and playing around with maybe those less expensive options for trends that come and go. A wide belt on your waste will instantly create curves and highlight your waist. Thinner belts that sit lower on the waste will elongate you by drawing the eye downward. The more embellished the belt or the more powerful the statement, the simpler your other accessories need to be. Conclusion: The right belt can be a crucial thing to looking your best.

I love all things fringe this season. From bathing suits, skirts, dresses and shoes. I am having a field day luxing up on fringe. I styled my look around my fringe wedges. I wanted a cool chic/bohemian rocker look. I took this awesome moto jacket (a must in your wardrobe) the thing you'll wear over and over forever, paired it with light blue skinnies and a grey turtle neck tee. Threw my hair up in a messy bun for an edgy look and rocked my hubby's shades. This look screams FUN! So walk around and try some of the fringe styles on. Get comfortable with it and then embrace it and invest.

Bigger is better!!! As the maxi skirt was the "it" wardrobe piece last year and while they are still very trendy, palazzo pants are a new fun and BIG twist to this comfortable style. They can be classified as a throw back from the 70's or a revival of the 90's, however they are, we can be sure they are here to stay. This style is simple. The palazzo pants come in so many colors, styles and textures. Pair them with tees, collard blouses, lace, or sweaters. Stick to heels, wedges or chunky platforms to give it that 70's flare. This style can be casual or dressy. I have recently styled my palazzos with a very feminine long sleeve lace top for a holiday party. My second look was a more comfy inspired look. I went with a button down blouse. Perfect for any occasion. Call me crazy but I kinda love them :)

Leather leggings?? YES please. This is very easy to incorporate into your look. Go with coated denim, a pair that's cotton and leather or the faux liquid legging. So many options. These can be worn with so many different shoes. From pumps or thigh high boots for a sexy look to flats for a more casual look. Running around all day with tons of errands pair these with sneakers. I went with a collared button down and kept it all black and adding the leopard gave it a punch of color. For certain this season make sure your at the top of your game with leather leggings!

The fall/winter season just wouldn't be complete without some checkered plaid. The 'it' pattern for the season. Preppy yet chic, plaid is for sure a classic that's constantly reinvented. Plaids aren't just stopping at shirts. They can be seen on accessories, scarves, jeans, trousers and coats so go bold and experiment. I took this baby doll plaid shirt paired it with ripped rolled jeans added a suede bootie and spiked accessories for a casual chic look. My "cat eye" glasses are leopard. I love mixing patterns together and leopard complimented this look. Make sure to incorporate this pattern in your wardrobe this season. Go mad for plaid :)

Puffing up this season and with that I mean shoulders and sleeves. Such a romantic trend. My hubby especially loves this look :) When the look is a bigger shoulder make sure to avoid volume anywhere else. This top would also look amazing with a high waste skirt/pant giving it a defined waist to create and hour glass shape. Proportion and balance are always such an important element when dressing. I kept this outfit very simple in shape. So update your wardrobe by adding a puffy sleeve blouse, jacket or shrug. The more exaggerated the more fun. Shop Sugar and Sequins for my look.
